Russians Against War — Minnesota
Russians Against War – Minnesota is a community of people who stand for peace, justice, and human rights. We write letters to political prisoners in Russia, support those affected by repression, and build a local network based on shared values—not nationality. We believe in empathy, solidarity, and the power of collective action. Join us in making a difference.

What We Do
Community Building
We organize charity concerts, community picnics, and camping trips, and we also host local radio shows and produce podcasts to support the local immigrant community with helpful information and resources. We foster connections among individuals who believe in human dignity, unity, and dialogue. Through our network, members find meaningful ways to support one another.
Supporting Political Prisoners
We write letters to political prisoners, bringing together Russian and American communities in solidarity. We've hosted letter-writing events in partnership with organizations like World Without Genocide and the Museum of Russian Art, as well as in churches, libraries, temples, the State Capitol, and universities. We also occasionally raise funds to help support the basic needs of political prisoners’ families.
